Hike 1.4 miles to the Bordner Cabin. Learn about the history of the hand-hewn Oak cabin made from trees on the site as well as limestone masterfully cut in the basement and fireplace. Sweep up the cabin, pick up litter there and on the trail on the way out of Swatara State Park.
From Route 72, turn onto Sand Siding dirt and gravel road. Travel to the dead end just across the Swatara Rail Trail, and park. We'll leave from here.
