Volunteer Medical Advocate

If you are an empathetic and assertive person with a passion for helping survivors, SARCC Lebanon is looking for you! As a Medical Advocate, you would provide supportive listening over our 24-hour rape crisis hotline. You would also get to accompany survivors to Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital for Sexual Assault Forensic Exams and medical treatment. We provide you with 40 hours of training in counseling skills, plus additional training as an advocate. Our convenient online sign-ups allow you to pick the shifts that work for your schedule. This is your chance to advocate for survivors’ needs and provide resources in a moment of crisis.
