Jonestown Borough is looking for individuals that are willing to spread a little holiday cheer by lending a helping hand with our annual tradition of hanging the snowflake lights along Market Street. Individuals are needed to help hang the lights and to help with traffic control. Vests and traffic control signs will be provided for those helping with traffic control. Individuals will be needed to hang the snowflakes using a bucket truck, hand the lights to the person in the bucket truck and to stage lights along the street.
All volunteers will meet at the Jonestown Community Park at the concession stand and once job duties have been assigned, they will go to Market Street to hang the lights. Hours listed are from 7am-11am, which is an approximate time frame but the project will most likely be completed in less time. Please remember to bring hats, gloves, warm clothing/jackets and warm shoes in case we have cool weather.
