Who We Are
The Child Advocacy Center opened in 1994 as part of Polyclinic Medical Center. It has remained with the health care system, which is now UPMC. The CAC serves approx. 1300 children per year from seven counties throughout PA.
What We Do
Our office serves children who disclose physical or sexual abuse or neglect. We conduct a forensic interview, medical exam and mental health assessment. We are the first stop as the child begins to recover from their abuse.
