Pastor Sean Condran Office is looking for drivers! Drivers are needed to help with transportation for our clients to take them to medical appointments and food shopping. Must use our company vehicle.

Pastor Sean Condran Office is looking for a dispatcher to communicate with our drivers and counselors. Dispatchers responsibilities include: Receiving non-emergency calls, monitoring driver logs, keeping records, addressing problems, and dispatching appropriate team members to each call by using a CB radio.

There are Little Free Libraries in a neighborhood within every school district in Lebanon County. The libraries contain free books donated to give access to reading material for children. The boxes that hold these books go through a lot of harsh conditions year round. We are looking for 1 or 2 volunteers who would be interested in maintaining/fixing up the Box that holds the books whenever they are damaged. Someone who is good with their hands and can use tools to maintain the upkeep. 

Quest, Inc. is seeking motivated volunteers who want to make a difference within the community and serve on our Board of Directors to support our mission and provide guidance to our organization. The board of directors only meet 10 times a year and do some committee work.

Compeer of Lebanon County is seeking motivated volunteers who want to make a difference within the community and serve or observe on an advisory board or committee to guide and build our organization. 

A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteer is a trained citizen (21 years or older) who is appointed by a judge to represent the best interest of a child in court. The children that CASA Volunteers advocate for have been abused and neglected and placed in to the foster care system. CASA Volunteers work to help ensure a safe and permanent home for the child as quickly as possible. A CASA Volunteer is an extension of the "eyes and ears” of the judge.

After screening, CASA Volunteers participate in a thorough training and "graduate" through a swearing-in ceremony where the judge delivers the CASA oath.  Once appointed to a child or sibling group, CASAs work closely with a CASA program staff member who will offer on-going coaching, guidance, and support.

Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities. By volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, you can be a part of the change you want to see in your community. Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity is currently working on the construction of two homes in Lebanon that you can be a part of! 

No construction experience is required! Common tasks may include: painting, hanging drywall, installing windows/doors, hanging siding, landscaping, and much more!

All volunteers must be at least 16 years old. All volunteers ages 16 & 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity does more than build homes and faith. It also builds leaders. Habitat provides hands-on training and mentorship for new leaders working alongside staff on our construction sites. You will develop new construction and leadership skills while at the same time enriching your community. You will have the opportunity to build a team and build a home from the ground up. Habitat is looking for new leaders to share in this challenge!

The Crew Leader’s principal function is to coach the volunteers to produce acceptable results in a safe manner. A Crew Leader can usually guide four to five unskilled or semi-skilled volunteers. Crew Leaders demonstrate tasks, maintain standards, monitor safety, and ensure that the volunteers have enough meaningful work to have a satisfying experience. A Crew Leader should be a people person, possess some basic construction aptitude, enjoy leadership, and be able to learn tasks quickly and then demonstrate those tasks to others. 

Our crews are currently working in North Cornwall Township in Lebanon County and we plan to begin another project in Lebanon City in the next few months. CompeerCORPS matches Veteran volunteers with Veteran clients who are working through mental health challenges. Our trained volunteers offer friendship and support to individuals struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.

CompeerCORPS volunteers are unique: This is a Veteran helping other Veterans program.

Volunteers get together with their match one hour a week (or four hours a month or so) doing activities you both enjoy, such as watching a ball game, going for a walk, having lunch together, or doing a shared hobby - the opportunities to spend time together are endless! Heck as a Veteran, the opportunities to engage within the Veteran and military-affiliated community is an amazing chance to connect with so many folks who have also worn the uniform of our nation! 

Being a Compeer volunteer is as easy as being a friend! Do you have an hour or so a week to hang out in person or over the phone?

Compeer volunteers spend an average of four hours a month being a friend to someone who is lonely, anxious, or depressed. Our clients are in mental health recovery and need you to be a supportive friend. Volunteers and clients go for walks, watch a sports game, have lunch together, play bingo, or do a shared hobby - the opportunities to spend time together are endless! Be the one to make a difference in someone's life today!

Assist the Lebanon Free Clinic during our clinic hours. Help with lab work and New Patient Registrations, obtaining health histories. 

Assist in our Lebanon Free Clinic once or twice a month for our 3 hour clinic, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.

Hours vary depending on provider availability

Duties may include: Lab work, New Patient Registration, taking health histories and data entry

Psychiatrist Volunteers needed to provide care for one 3 hour clinic a month. Any time frame will work. Can do telehealth.

We need additional boat captains and narrators to increase the number of narrated tours we can conduct through the oldest water transportation tunnel in the United States. Training is provided.

Become a Course Facilitator with Chalkboard Financial. Do you enjoy talking and inspiring high

school students? Teach teens basic personal finance! Use your experiences and background to

help guide our younger generation. Since programs are held year round and at various times and

locations, volunteering is flexible enough for even the busiest professional or retiree.

Qualifications: Are you a retiree or a professional with a heart to serve the younger generation?

Maybe you’ve dug your way out of debt and want to impact the youth on the road NOT to take.

Use your story and experiences to powerfully impact our students.

• Must be able to conduct a workshop in a classroom like setting with teens and young

adults ( Ages 16-22)

• finger printing and background check prior to volunteering

Responsibilities and Duties: Using our curricula and materials, connect and educate students,

talking and walking through how finances work in the real world. Bringing to life how budgets

and credit work to our benefit or adversely hinder next steps in life.

• Take role of students attending workshops

• Length of service: Conduct a once a week class for 8 ( 45 minute class session

+ light set up and tear down)

• Hours per week with prep: 2 hours in mid to late afternoon. 

Training: Chalkboard Financial will offer training. Each facilitator will complete 1 training

session and receive the necessary workshop tools to conduct the onsite workshops with students.

A Hospice volunteer can help in many ways: spending time with the patient while the caregiver runs errands or has an appointment; providing companionship for the patient; getting together with small groups of volunteers to sing for the patient; running errands for the patient and family; sitting in vigil with patients who are nearing the end of their journey; providing bereavement support during the bereavement phase; and assisting with office and clerical duties in the Hospice Volunteer Office.

Looking for Groups to help Jubilee Ministries price housewares. The group will receive a tour of our Lebanon Facility. Then the group can help us help the Prison Ministry by pricing small housewares for the Stores, and by doing this you indirectly help the Chaplain's in the prisons.

Volunteers are needed to help students in 3rd - 8th grades in completing homework after school. The homework help center is open 3pm - 5pm, Monday - Friday when Palmyra Area School District is in session. Volunteers typically select a day of the week to volunteer to help students. Volunteers will need to supply clearances and will be required to complete 3 hours of mandatory reporter training (available free, online).

If you are an empathetic and assertive person with a passion for helping survivors, SARCC Lebanon is looking for you! As a Medical Advocate, you would provide supportive listening over our 24-hour rape crisis hotline. You would also get to accompany survivors to Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital for Sexual Assault Forensic Exams and medical treatment. We provide you with 40 hours of training in counseling skills, plus additional training as an advocate. Our convenient online sign-ups allow you to pick the shifts that work for your schedule. This is your chance to advocate for survivors’ needs and provide resources in a moment of crisis. SARCC Lebanon is seeking outgoing people who dream of a world with no more sexual violence! Volunteer Community Educators teach the Lebanon County community about sexual violence and the steps we can all take to prevent it. Opportunities include classroom lessons for students grades Pre-K through 12, community training for college students and adults, or outreach at health fairs and community events. We provide you with 40 hours of training in education & advocacy skills. Our range of daytime, evening, and weekend opportunities can flex to your schedule.
