Volunteer Opportunities From: Volunteer Lebanon

Compeer of Lebanon County is seeking motivated volunteers who want to make a difference within the community and serve or observe on an advisory board or committee to guide and build our organization. 

CompeerCORPS matches Veteran volunteers with Veteran clients who are working through mental health challenges. Our trained volunteers offer friendship and support to individuals struggling with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.

CompeerCORPS volunteers are unique: This is a Veteran helping other Veterans program.

Volunteers get together with their match one hour a week (or four hours a month or so) doing activities you both enjoy, such as watching a ball game, going for a walk, having lunch together, or doing a shared hobby - the opportunities to spend time together are endless! Heck as a Veteran, the opportunities to engage within the Veteran and military-affiliated community is an amazing chance to connect with so many folks who have also worn the uniform of our nation! 

Being a Compeer volunteer is as easy as being a friend! Do you have an hour or so a week to hang out in person or over the phone?

Compeer volunteers spend an average of four hours a month being a friend to someone who is lonely, anxious, or depressed. Our clients are in mental health recovery and need you to be a supportive friend. Volunteers and clients go for walks, watch a sports game, have lunch together, play bingo, or do a shared hobby - the opportunities to spend time together are endless!
